JotSpot Googled

Is the verb "to be Googled" changing it meaning or growing a new one.  it used to mean being checked out in a search engine, now it also means being bought.

Google has acquired a start-up that develops "wikis", the online collaboration tool popularised by digital encyclopaedia Wikipedia.

The company, called JotSpot, was founded in 2004 by the co-founders of Excite.com, Joe Kraus and Graham Spencer.

JotSpot aims to provide do-it-yourself tools to enable users to create, publish and share content.

Wikis can be either publicly accessible or secure.
